Peter Kersak, aka Eclectica, became passionate about futuristic styles in the late 90's and did everthing to gain more and more experience in that field right away. After his discovery of the world of underground music, he soon offered to perform at Colosseum, a multilevel venue where he soon secured his first weekly residency of many. The next two years saw him perform at almost all the venues in the country, from the big clubs in the capital to the popular parties in the countryside.
Alongside these performances, Peter got into producing his own music, with his first appearances on compilations released by EMI Hungary and soon under the name of Eclectica. One of his first projects was O'Spectra , created for a competition of the most famous dance magazine in Hungary. It was so well received that the Hungarian label Planetarium licenced it and all the way to John Digweed's label, Bedrock Black, who re-released it one year later.
In the meantime, Peter kept securing his DJing skills by playing at Pacha Budapest and Home Club and later on was asked to join Pacha Futuro. This led him to places where no Hungarian DJ had ever performed before (Creamfields Liverpool, Pacha in Palma de Majorca, Level Club in Miami, The Womb in Tokyo or Space Bucarest to name but a few).
Lately Peter has been working on his own label and launching tracks of Eclectica and other Hungarian talents. His track O'Spectra was the first Hungarian production to feature on a Digweed mix by Bedrock: Layerd Sounds in february 2004. And his label Eclectik Productions is dealing with the second release from Yvel and Trisatan, Gaelic. These two young talents are on the album from the famous Global Underground series, mixed by Nick Warren GU 28! Peter is definitely mastering many sides of the eclectic word of DJ/Producer.
Today Peter is back with new sounds for your delights! The multi-talented Hungarian has proved to many that he could play in any type of venue, building up unique sets full of surprises for the audience. But after many releases under the moniker Eclectica, gaining support from the top DJs in Progressive House including none other than John Digweed and his Bedrock Black label, Peter is now experimenting fresh new beats: PILVAX is born!
There's a time in life when you need to discover new path, try new things... experiment new sounds. Peter has now open new doors with a mix of trip-hop, soft breaks, electro house... you name it. From his twisted and genius mind to your ears, Pilvax's beats will mesmerize you!
