Some have described his DJ sets as a slick acoustic journey through house genres, others as a floor filling mash up of beats that’ll get any dance floor rocking, whichever way you cut it DJ Mosko is a unique music professional and first and foremost will always be, a massive fan of music.
Mosko's sound encompasses all types of genres, from funky sexy house to electro to progressive to breaks. His DJ experience over the past two decades has taken him to venues across Europe and more exotic locations globally.
He has brought DJ prowess to the chic and glamorous Club Aux Gazelles in Vienna (Austria) a number of times. The Infamous
La Paloma Club in the hidden streets of Barcelona (Spain) has been witness to DJ Mosko on the decks where a floor filled 400 people have danced till the
early hours. La Baroque the uber up market club has invited Mosko twice to its DJ Booth in Geneva (Switzerland) to the start proceedings
and see the night into a frenzy.
At Exit club, Kosice (Slovakia) he headlined a floor filled 1000 person venue and needless to say it kicked off! He just completed a
tour of Durban and Johannesburg (South Africa) playing at the cities biggest clubs in Oct 2010. More recently Mosko had a
weekly residency in Nov 2010 in Club Fusion in Koh Samui (Thailand), where he was able to play his more progressive and harder beats
for the international traveling crowd. Mosko was invited to DJ at a private party for the Monaco elite at for the 2011 Formula 1 Grand Prix
weekend and revelers at Glastonbury Festival June 2011 were treated to a 2 hour storming set by DJ Mosko.
Mos-Ko was first introduced to the Dance scene in the late eighties where he was exposed to a variety of sounds including Acid House, Chicago/Detroit House, Experimental and Ambient soundscapes - compliments of Coldcut, Future Sounds of London and not forgetting the pioneering radio shows of Colin Dale and Colin Favor on Kiss FM London.
Other than his International DJ tours he's been busy DJing in clubs in his residencies in London and Birmingham UK. He can be seen every couple of months spinning his progressive and electro house sets alongside DJ Bobby Friction (BBC Radio One) at the popular Birmingham night – 'Friction' - Hare & Hound club in Birmingham, previously at The Custard Factory.
In the capital he DJ's at the Bedroom Bar in the hype district of Shoreditch at the monthly Rocksteady house night, Mosko has also got the dance floor rocking at Cargo London for the monthly 'Shaanti' night, sharing the top of the bill with acts such as Asian Dub Foundation. For the past two years he has featured as one of the chosen DJ's for the annual Igaming parties at The Orchid Club in the renowned Piccadilly Circus.
